Using the Poly x30 (Stand up area conference unit)
We have Poly X30 and TC8 in the stand up area and both devices are paired and connected to the TV.
To use the unit you can either use for a scheduled meeting or impromptu meeting.
For a scheduled meeting:
Set up a Teams meeting and invite the meeting room as you would an attendee.

You will receive an acceptance email to confirm your booking. (if your meeting is declined, it will mean someone else has the conference unit booked at this time)
- Turn on the TV and make sure the HDMI i selected as the source.
The below screen will appear and show any scheduled meetings.
- The TC8 unit will also show any scheduled meeting. To join a schedule meeting on TC8 select Join option.
If you wish to start an impromptu meeting, on TC8 you can select Meet Now and then search for the user your wish to call and click Start meeting.
If you need to share your screen in the meeting, Join the meeting on your laptop, and use the Share option in Teams . NB. Please, ensure you mute on your laptop.
